Renapur was declared as a Taluka on 14th July 1992 along with some other Taluka's in Maharashtra region.
The leadership of Renapur constituency has been considered to
contribute a progressive leadership to the state of Maharashtra. The
struggle which started from 1990 illuminated in getting the
Shivsena-BJP alliance into power at the state in 1995.
'From struggle to power, and power for progress was my motto when I concentrated to work for Renapur Taluka.
Roads for overall progress
Development of, means of communication would and the overall progress
of Renapur hence I concentrated on building a network of roads. When we
came to power only, 23% road length was farmed.Tarring of road began in
full swing with the use of hotmix technology within next 4 yrs. I could
farr 60% of road length i.e. 250 Km. of road lenngh.
We had expected that 100% of the road length would be farmed by 2000A.D. if we use in power
Earlier
only 16 villages out 60 in Renapur taluka were connected by farr roads.
We worked extensively to count more 35 village. An amount of Rs. 10
crores was spent for this.
Bridge construction
Roads constructed should not be left unused becuase of nallas which overflow in monsoon and cover the roads.
Around 150 bridges were constructed over big nallas for undisturbed flow of traffic.
The bridge built on Manjira river at Mahapur is a historical one. I had
been demanding that the hight of this bridge should be increased right
from the time I was a member of Panchayat Samiti. It was a golden
moment for me when this bridge was completed as per my demand when I
was the dept.chief minister of Maharashtra.
This bridge built by spending 2 crores serves as an interrupted Ambajogai Latur traffic flow.
Building the image of Renapur as a Taluka place.
Even through Renapur had been declared as a Taluka. It needed extra
efforts to groom it into are ------ that Renapur should have an
administrative building which will serve as a landmark. It should have
all the offices in the same premises i.e. The ground floor should have
Panchayat Samiti,
The second floor would have, agriculure , water supply, departments.
The building stands complete today efforts were also taken to build resthouses costing 20lacs.
4 acres of land was aqquired for proposed hestitate and a fund of
amount Rs. 1 crore is kept aside from District planning and development
corporation.
Funds
of Rs. 102 lacs is also being proposed for district court and Judge
residence. Rs. 3 crores for I.T.I. administrative building, workshop,
hostel and employers. Rs. 50 lacs for government quarters.
Along with there development for Renapur, This is also being euipped with government guest houses.
I have also alloted funds for building theaters in Kankheda.
Shivsena
alliance had announced a scheme of building village administrative
building taking the benefit of this scheme i saw to it that a proposal
for building such a bldg. would be approved for Kankheda and Pohargaon.
